Senior photos aren’t all just about the girls! Guys can have an awesome session showcasing their unique talents and personality too! We did just that for Dawson’s senior portrait session on the most perfect November fall day.
Dawson has a great sense of style so we mixed things up going from super GQ in a suit to relaxed and fun with a loose tie, rolled sleeves and glasses. A downtown urban scene was the perfect backdrop for this dressier look. We ventured through some alleys, the cool nook next to Hefe Rojo and Newts, Historic Third Street and Old City Hall.
Next we hit one of my favorite spots to showcase his amazing soccer talent! Urban Sportraits are quickly becoming one of my favorite session add ons. Highlighting the sport, with a edgier look 🙂 Not only did Dawson get a workout, but we laughed like crazy and had so much fun. His soccer abilities allowed him to be one of the leaders on the Lourdes High School Soccer team this year and he’s also been involved with other teams outside of the school season. It’s easy to see why he’s a standout on the field!
While planning for his senior photos, Dawson and his mom had a great tip on a hidden gem of a location in Rochester. I have so many places to suggest for senior portrait sessions, but I love it even more when my clients have places in mind that are different and fun. I quickly realized that we hit the jackpot with this spot. Beautiful fall colors, check. River views, check. Old run down building, check. Park scenery, check. Stone wall, check. Bridges, checkity check check check!
Finally, Dawson got to top off his senior photos with a leaf fight and some photos with mom, which as you all know, I love capturing more than anything!
